Requirements

• The instrument must be available in Dutch.

• The instrument must be in the public domain and thus freely available.

• The psychometric properties of the instrument must be known.

• The instrument must not be diagnosis-specific.

• The instrument needs to be as short as possible.

• There is as little overlap as possible with other measurement instruments.

Preferences

• Preferably, the instrument is well-known and already frequently used in practice.

• If possible, the instrument is frequently used in an international setting.

• The instrument is validated for Dutch adults with ABI.

• Preferably, all healthcare professionals should be able to administer the instrument; no specific training is required.

• The materials required for administration are as few as possible.
